Stephanie L. Strycharz is currently a shareholder at Pedersen, Keenan, King, Wachsberg, & Andrzejak, PC, specializing in the defense of insurance carriers in issues of coverage, catastrophic personal protection insurance claims, personal injury liability, contract disputes, liquor liability, environmental exposure, premises liability, and Michigan Consumer Protection Act claims. Ms. Strycharz also has extensive trial experience defending major Michigan-based and out-of-state insurers and their insureds against in personal injury claims. She has successfully argued and obtained dozens of summary judgement rulings and no-cause for action jury verdicts in the last five years in the areas of contract rescission, coordination of benefits, priority issues, roll-on coverage provisions affecting out-of-state insurers, liquor liability, and governmental immunity.
Ms. Strycharz received her undergraduate degree in criminal justice with a minor in political science from Eastern Michigan University, summa cum laude, in 2011. She graduated with her Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, magna cum laude, in 2014. Thereafter, she was admitted to practice in both the state and federal court systems in Michigan.
Prior to joining Pedersen, Keenan, King, Wachsberg, & Andrzejak, PC, Ms. Strycharz worked for the largest plaintiff personal injury law firm in the State of Michigan representing individuals pursuing Michigan no-fault claims against a multitude of automobile insurers. Her prior experience as a plaintiff attorney gives her valuable perspective when advising and aggressively advocating for both insurance carriers and their insureds.
